The building on the right is the former produce wholesale market hall, nicknamed "Gemieskerch" (Veggie Church) in the local dialect. There has been a lot of discussion about it lately as it is under monument protection and a new skyscraper will be erected in front of it and connected with it by a large hallway. Here are some graphics and model photos. The whole structure will then be the new home of the European Central Bank.
